Sarah currently holds a New York State limited permit in Mental Health Counseling and has obtained an M.S. degree in Mental Health Counseling from Manhattan College & a B.A. in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College. Sarah has recently completed comprehensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and is pursuing certification in this therapeutic approach. Beginning her work in a college counseling environment, Sarah has worked with a diverse population of adults who have experienced trauma, stress, depression, & low self-esteem. She also has worked with couples with various relationship dynamics. In her work, Sarah is committed to providing a nonjudgmental and secure space for clients, fostering an environment for healing and personal growth. Sarah’s therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered, while also utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. By prioritizing your individual goals and concerns, Sarah will collaboratively work toward helping you achieve an increased sense of self-awareness and clarity. Sarah welcomes the opportunity to accompany you on your journey to improved mental health and overall life satisfaction.
